Waiting To Exhale

I personally don't think that the movie portrays the role of black females. The movie made us out to be a goldigging bitch, that's only after men in life. Like that's the only thing we care about! Yes, we do get a little crazy at times when guys do us wrong, but how many women you know don't get pissed if a guy does them wrong. Who actually go blows a car up, we crazy but not that damn crazy....................
Okay, yes we want a guy that has something going for themselves but at the same time we are successful too, what woman wants to take care of a man for the rest of her life. We don't want a man that wants to live off of us, so we look for guys with a nice status.
The thing with a black guy leaving us for white women is a big issue both ways. White women get upset when they see black women with white males.
This is a good movie, but it was made this way just for the ratings not to enact real life!

This Week Sucks

Well since we are watching a movie in Engish class and have no readings I guess I will blog about whats on my mind. This week sucks so far so bad. I have not been able to enoy this nice wweather that we have had these past couple of days because i have been stuck in the dorms witht his terrible cold that doesnt seem to want to leave my system.

On top of that I went to this Mary Kay make-up party and I used this lip balm and I had a allergic reaction to it. Now I have this hidious rash on my lips. I mean come on can it get any worse. Im so tired of school and then when I think its getting easier its getting harder. Im failing in math class and I havent passed not one test.

Then I come to English class today and my proffesor slaps a research paper on me. I dont know squat about zombies. Then, my math class has 4 assignment due at 4:00 pm on the April 6th only I wont be here because I have to go se my father marry his bride from hell.

I mean really, is someone out to get me or what. I need some serious help!

St. Pattys Day

Happy Belated St Patricks Day........
Damn, and what a day it was! I went to this Mary Kay make-up party right, and the consultant was trying to get me to try all this different stuff. But I didn't thin it looked right on me do I took it off. She was getting mad because she said I wasn't being 'open-minded'.
So I had to go crazy on her and she was pissed off because I started doing my own thing with my own makeup!
I mean, was I wrong. I don't like all that drastic stuff on my face, therefore I will not be purchasing any.
Then my mother-in-law gave her some liquor and "Baby" she got tore up. She started telling all her little business and talked about sex in front of the children...LOL

Then that night, me and my friends went out to the club. I got so messed up, I was mixing some of everything together. I didn't even care if it was dark or light. I was dancing with this guy and I found me a new phone!!!!! Now how cool is that. Then I was mad because I couldn't get a cheeseburger because McDonald's was selling breakfast......I woke up this morning with a bad hangover....can't wait to do it again.

Essay #2

Writing this essay was not hard. At first I was a little confused, but after emailing Ellen so many times, I got the hang of it. I ad a hard time making that 5 page mark, but other than that it was okay. I chose to do my essay on Non reality television being more realistc than reality television shows!!
I chose the 2 shows One On One and Girlfriends. I think these two shows relate to everyday life rather than something like the real world. It wasnt hard to use the shows because I watch them everyday! I see my life in these shows very often!!!

Sex Drugs and CoCo Puffs

Interesting essay I shall say. I agree with him when saying at the end of the essay about the Real World cast members, that there is no financial upside to the whole ordeal. You get no positive credibility at all. Simply because they know what type of cast they are looking for.

They are looking for the ones that are going to make the ratings go up, which those people are the ones who bring the drama to the show. They look for the egotistical African Americans, the gay/lesbian, the drunk, the weirdos, the smart mouth bitch of the house, and those who keep to themselves.

But the thing is, you might not be as dense as the show makes you out to be. But when seen in public you aren't know for who you really are but for who the show made you out to be. You might not even be able to get a descent job because of your past television experience which has given you a bad name and others a bad perspective of you.

Reality Dating

Okay, so you go on these tv dating shows such as Elimidate, Next Flavor of Love and so on. These girsl get on national television degrading themselves nd thier families. I mean its embarrassing to watch these girls get on tv, kissing these guys, showing thier goodies and everything else to win a competition. They go on tv, down talking these other females that they don't know anything about. Just to make themsleves look good. Then at the end of the show, the guy always chooses the one that didn't say much or didn't do the outragious things the others didn't...................And the ones that couln't keep their clothes on in front of th camera are left looking stupid................Take Flavor Of Love for a instance, New York was the main chick gong on about Flav was her man, and how they were so much in love and how when they make love its"Music" but at the end of the season he dissed her dumb ass! So she comes back season two and does the same dumb shit, but only this time he fed her ass some bull**** and she fell for it, when the only reason he brought her back was because no one in the house as giving it up and her knew she would. And like a dummy she did and her wack p*ssy is what got her kicked off! So he rolled with the one that was real all along and living happily ever after!!




Why can't you be yourself? Of course not, because thats what the producers are looking for, women that are going to make an ass of themselves.
Do these people actually think of what thier parents might say? I know my parents don't play that mess. They need to think about how that is going to come back and haunt them!!

So Far So Good!

In the beginning I was making this paper harder than it really was. I had a hard time making four pages, even after i went into detail about tha ads. I wasnt a very hard assgignment.

The class overall is going good!
